Micro-Update and BostonFIG Fest

Hey all!

We have made a lot of progress on the game this week as everyone buckles down to get our demo ready for the Boston Festival of Indie Games on Saturday. Since our last development update, Hexile has:

• Set up an objective marker system with interactable triggers
• Implemented sound effects
• Integrated voice actor audio
• Fixed our UI animation and attached some particle systems
• Done some suuuuuuuuuuuuper cool character stuff that we’ll be sharing at BostonFIG
• Optimized kill boxes, checkpoints, hex bottom collisions, and other quality of life things

As mentioned a moment ago, we will be debuting a new demo at BostonFIG this Saturday. If you’re in the Boston area we’d LOVE to see you there. Information about attending can be found here--we’ll be upstairs, at table F4 of the Digital Showcase.
